Perfect Boot Knife Sheath? Heres why...most boot knife sheaths have the clip set on the back side of the sheath. What this does is force you to insert the sheath and knife into your boot with the clip to the outside. This creates a bit of a problem as the leather to the back of the knife handle gets in the way when you try and draw the knife. This sheath has the clip attached the the front side of the sheath. When placing this sheath in your boot, the leather behind the handle is up against your leg protecting it from the various rubs and knocks while you walk. The sheath is constructed from Black Harness leather. It uses a standard belt/boot clip with a strap fastening system for the knife. I have used a "one-way" snap on this piece and have designed it so that you can grasp, un-snap and draw the knife in one fluid motion.
